Thorn Tells Players To Be Bold At Boro

Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has told his payers to be bold when they take on Middlesbrough at The Riverside on Saturday.

Boro have made a good start to the season and are unbeaten whereas Coventry in contrast have just one point from the goalless draw against Watford in their opening games of the season.

However, Thorn believes his side have made a reasonably good start to the season despite losing all but one of their games and thinks his side more than capable of returning to Coventry with all three points.

Speaking to the club website, Thorn said, "We've prepared well this week and we are looking forward to the game. We know it's going to be tough but we will be ready.

"Without getting the points on the board, we haven't started too badly and we are looking forward to pitting ourselves against them."

"We will be bold, we will attack and we will have a go. It is a tough game because they have started well and they have picked up some good results."

"We have watched them closely and they are a good side but I think we've got a lot of good players too and when we are at it, we can match anyone in this league. We are taking it game to game but getting a result up at Middlesbrough would not only be a massive boost for the players but for everyone connected with the football
club going into the international break."
