Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has said that he was pleased with the point against Crystal Palace.

Speaking to Sky Blue Player, the City boss said: "Could we have gone on and won the game? Maybe. On another day, if things drop for you and chances are taken, then we could got all three points.

"But I am happy with the draw as it was important we didn't throw it away near the end of the game, and with certain players coming back to fitness, there are plenty of positives.

"We still wanted to keep going at the end but at the same time, we didn't want to concede. It is only one defeat in seven home games so we have been good at home.

"I am just really pleased we stuck at it tonight as that wasn't easy against an in-form Palace side. They were stubborn at the back and made it hard for us.

"We can use this performance to build on and if we can work on the way we started the game today, then we can continue to good home form."
