Thorn looking to continue where he left off

Coventry City boss Andy Thorn intends to make sure his side start the next season in the same way in which they finished the last and is looking to build on the reputation he was starting to earn for putting out an attacking side that will be difficult to play against and to beat.

However, Thorn's main concern is not so much how they will play, but how well they will do on the pitch and to help do well he intends to build and maintain a team spirit among the players and coaching staff.

Thorn explained to the CT: “It’s a big season for us but I don’t really think about that fact that it is my first full season to be honest. My concern is making sure everything is right. If things are right on the pitch and we do well, everything else falls into place."

"I don’t mind other people talking about us but we won’t be talking about ourselves too much. Let other people do that and if they are then we will obviously be doing well. It’s all about us putting our club back on the map and with everyone pulling together, we have seen what team’s can do. And when you’ve got confidence it goes a long way."

“I am not going to comment on other clubs too much but I know we are looking forward to getting going again, and I am sure the supporters are as well. We just want to carry on where we left off last season and raise the bar again because we are determined to do well.”
