Andy Thorn has hailed his backroom staff for their part in City's turn of form which has seen two wins and two draws from the five matches he had been in charge of ahead of this afternoon's game with Millwall.

Speaking to the CT, Thorn said: "We're a tight unit. "Well, Oggy's tight - if you drop a pound you hit him on the head!

"But seriously we all got on very well and that's credit to everyone because they have had some tough times this season.

"I haven't mentioned him before but what a fantastic job, Michael McBride the physio has done. It has been a difficult time with injuries this year and they haven't been little niggles - they have been proper long term injuries that can't be rushed and have had to be managed properly.

"We've had one set back after another but Michael has got vast experience. He and his team have been terrific and what they have done shouldn't pass un-noticed.

"We're getting a few players back now because of the experience and patience he's got and I am chuffed to bits for him because it has been a tough season for him.

"I thought it was really important what we all pulled together as a group and we have done that and now we are seeing the rewards.

"Steve Harrison has been brilliant for me, Oggy has been fantastic, Andy O'Boyle, Donald Barron, Paul Travis, Dave Hart, Andy Harvey - even Deano the chef who is forever texting when we are away saying 'brilliant' and how the place is buzzing.

"If I've left anyone out I apologise because everyone here has got on board and played their part in what we are trying to do.

"Long may that continue because they are good staff who have worked at a good level before. Whatever happens for the rest of the season, regardless of what happens to me in terms of the manager's job, they deserve to be looked after.
