Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has said that he is delighted to have signed Reece Brown on a season long loan from Manchester United.

Speaking about the defender/midfielder who has played for Bradford City, Oldham and Doncaster, Andy Thorn told the CT's Andy Turner: "This is another really good signing for us. Reece is a massive talent and we are delighted to be able to bring him here for the season.

"At six foot three, he’s big and athletic and can play at the back and in midfield which is a big plus for us.

"The fact that we looked after Ollie Norwood so well last season has stood us in good stead with Manchester United and we are grateful that Sir Alex Ferguson and his staff have put their faith in us to do exactly the same with Reece.

"This another important signing for the club in what has been a busy summer."

Speaking about the signing of Callum Ball who according to Derby County boss Nigel Clough was part of the deal that saw Richard Keogh go to Pride Pride Park for a fee in the region of £1.1m, Thorn said: "I've liked Callum for some time, so I am really pleased we've been able to get him here," said Thorn.

"He's young, he's hungry and he's already a big, strong striker. We think he will be a massive asset for us this season.

"He will fit in with what we want to do here."
