George Thomas has said that he wants to force his way into the Coventry City team and get as many minutes as possible this season.
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner, Thomas said: “It’s a great opportunity for me at the minute to show the manager what I can do while he’s still looking to strengthen the squad up front. It’s my first season as a professional and it’s really great that I’m getting an opportunity to play.
“Obviously it’s best for the team to get a few more strikers in for the season but really good to get so much game time.
“I’d like to force my way in this season and get as many minutes of first team football as I can. I’ve got the next two years to prove myself and I’d like to do it as soon as I can and really help the club get promoted. If that doesn’t happen I just want to enjoy the season and do my best for Coventry as I develop my career.”
