Thomas Third Youngest Player To Start A City Game

George Thomas became the third youngest player to start a Coventry City game when he played the first half of the Sky Blues 2-0 defeat at Leyton Orient on Tuesday.

Thomas, at sixteen years and 310 days is the third youngest player to have started a game for City. Brian Hill in 1958, aged sixteen years and 273 days is the youngest followed by Isaac Osbourne.

Jonson Clark-Harris is still the youngest ever player to have played for City's first team when he came on as a subsubtitute in the League Cup tie at Morecambe in 2010 aged sixteen years and twenty days.
