Coventry City's George Thomas is looking forward to playing for Wales U21 in the Toulon Tournament.
Thomas, along with Cian Harries are in Robert Page's squad for the game against France tomorrow and the scorer of that goal at Wembley for the Sky Blues in the EFL Trophy at Wembley last month, told the FAW website: “That was a dream come true (scoring at Wembley) and the best day of my life.
“At the back end of last season, I did quite well, scored a few goals and played a lot of games.
“That was good for my development and hopefully I can bring that experience to the team both for Tuesday’s game and the rest of the tournament.
“I’ve been around senior players in the last few seasons with my club, so maybe I can be a bit of a leader myself while we are out here in France.
“I can’t wait to get started now. We’ve had a good week’s training, the weather is great, confidence is high and the tempo and quality in training has been good.”
