According to The Independent, Leicester City are close to signing former Coventry City striker George Thomas.
The Wales U20 international hails from Leicester and turned down what Coventry City's bosses offered him after his contract with the Sky Blues, whom he can through the ranks with, expired on June 30th.
The paper claims that Leicester have offered around £300,000 as compensation to the Sky Blues, who are entitled to some compensation as Thomas is under twenty four.
