Coventry City manager Mark Robins said it was a good point as Max Biamou came to earn a point for the Sky Blues at Newport County.
Speaking about the 1-1 draw at a very wet Rodney Parade, Robins told the media: “This is a good point.
“Newport have a way of playing that puts you under pressure. They make you work and they make you graft by putting the ball in the box at every opportunity. It is about how you deal with it and defend against it.
“Mostly, we did okay. We let one real chance hurt us when their centre-half got in and scored which is poor from our point of view – then Burge’s save was out of this world. After that we had one blocked on the line and we were under the cosh a little bit.
“The changes we made helped. We were not creating enough, and they gave us a little more life.
“When you are not playing at your best or your opponent is not letting you play at your best you need to make sure you do not loose the game. This is a really good point.”
