Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has said there is no end to what his players can achieve.

Speaking about the Sky Blues 2-0 win over Derby County, which lifts City to 18th in the table, Thorn told Sky Sports: "I think that has been coming and I have said all along that our points tally doesn't match out performances so it was a case of carrying on doing what we were doing and taking our chances."

"It was important that it did not become a nervy thing and I thought we were fantastic throughout. We were fantastic today against a very good side and we deserved our victory. I was proud of them. Due to their ages, there is no end to what they can acheive and I just want to get back in there and nick Cyrus Christie's champagne as he is too young to drink it!

"At half-time we talked about what we could do better and they had a 5-10 minute spell but we rectified that.

"I believe in them, the staff believe in them and we can go up two or three more gears and play more on the front foot. I thought we did that.

"As a team we were right at it. Lukas was fabulous today and his professionalism and attitude was first class."
