Coventry City Ladies manager Craig Nicholls felt that the three points was the most important thing from his side's 2-1 win over Keynsham which lifted the Sky Blues to second place in the WPL Southern Division table.
Nicholls said to Matty Roper: "It was a difficult game today, and Keynsham provided a stern test as they did in the away fixture. The performance wasn't the best but we claimed the 3 points and that's obviously the most important thing, good teams win ugly, and that's what we've gone and done today.
"We changed the formation around a bit and altered our system a little due to niggling injuries within the side, but we got through it and hope that we have a full strength side available to us away at Lewes next week, where 3 points is a must again."
