Conor Thomas has said that the Ricoh Arena was all he knew as a Coventry kid.

Speaking at the press conference this morning to James Rogers and Andy Turner of the Coventry Telegraph, the midfielder said:  "The Ricoh is all I know as a Cov kid. To have it taken away was tough. It wasn't the same. We're all buzzing. It feels like a proper club again.

"Sixfields was a strange situation. When you drive to the stadium and there are no fans there but the away support is massive

"We had to get on with it but being back at the Ricoh is what the players want"

"We've got to give the fans a reason to come to the Ricoh. We can put a run together. Obviously the Gillingham game will be buzzing but we need fans to come back every week.

"Going to places like Arsenal in the cup - you sense they are big games and I think Ricoh is the same.

"It's great to see that fans are queuing for tickets today."
