The Money's On Money

Richard Money is favourite to become the next manager of Coventry City according to one bookmaker.

Money, a former City Academy Director, who lost his job due to his friendship with Bryan Richardson, is quoted a 7/4 favourite with Stan James and streets clear of Dennis Wise, Steve Staunton, Chris Wilder and Terry Connor who are priced at 6/1 with current Caretakers Richard Shaw and Lee Carsley, who will work with whoever gets the job if they don't at 10/1.

However, if Facebook statuses and tweets are anything to go by, then appointing either Richard Money or Steve Staunton as the new Coventry City manager could cost the club supporters and vital income.

There have been plenty of statuses and tweets from City supporters claiming that they will not be going if either of the duo who saw the Sky Blues lose to Stevenage at the Ricoh Arena on Sunday, replace Andy Thorn in the poison chalice that is the Sky Blues hot-seat.
