The Kettle's On For City

The currently scheduled referee for Coventry City's home Championship game with Reading on Saturday is Trevor Kettle.

Formerly with the RAF and currently residing in Berkshire, Mr Kettle has been no stranger to Coventry over the years. He was in charge of a number of reserve games at Highfield Road before being promoted to the League list.

Last season, he was in charge of City's 2-1 defeat at Sheffield United and 4-1 defeat at Ipswich Town.

This season, Mr Kettle, who was due to be in charge of City's game at Charlton but was replaced due to an injury has had 28 games and has shown 78 yellow cards and eight red. His last match was Millwall's 3-2 win at Hartlepool on March 21st.
