The Heat Of The Moment

Compared to other managers at other clubs, Micky Adams has had an easy time of it as Coventry City manager and his threats to walk out after some supporters disagreed with which player was replaced by Wayne Andrews at Barnsley are a surprise.

Having read Micky's and Robert Page's comments, we'll feel that both have the wrong end of the stick as to why the chant came about. Adams talk of an "inpsired substitution" proves this. There had been chants for Wayne Andrews to be introduced from the City support for a good while before he finally came on.

We also feel these are heat of the moment comments which have been sensationalised by certain sections of the media and led to the souring of an away victory.

We are concerned that this threat to resign will be seen as a red rag by some but know at this moment in time, a new manager would not be able to take the club any more forward than is currently being done.

We hope that the passion shown by both the supporters and the manager can be channeled into beating Birmingham City tomorrow night.
