Coventry City captain Stephen Hughes is hoping to get through the season without any more injuries or suspensions.
The midfielder told Sky Blue World: "I think a lot of us have been struggling for form, myself included but we believe in ourselves, we've got a good squad, we've been fairly inconsistent which we have to rectify and I'm sure when we do we'll move up the league.
"I've had a few injuries pre-season and I didn't play a lot of football and my form has been in and out, but I'm working hard in training to try and rectify that and get my game back on track. But I'm still enjoying it though it's been hard for everyone at the Club at the moment with the position we are in but you've got to get your head down and train hard and wait for it to turn.
"Being a captain, you should really enjoy it and embrace it. You've just got to get out there and play your own game and if you can help anyone in any way then you do that. But you get different captains, some shout, some don't but I get about and concentrate on my own game and if I can help anyone else then I will."
