David McGoldrick has said that whilst playing for Coventry City, he is finding the best form since he played for Southampton.
McGoldrick, on loan at City from Nottingham Forest until January 3rd, had the City supporters at Swindon Town on Saturday, calling for him to be signed up, and he told the CT's Andy Turner: "This is the best form I have had since I was at Southampton.
"I never played this many games in a row at Forest, where the best I got was three consecutive starts, so this is great for me to be playing so many games.
"I always knew I would come good and I just want to keep it going and keep scoring goals.
"I haven’t played regular football in three years and I am just grateful to get this chance at Coventry.
"I am going into each game thinking I am going to score more goals."
