The move to bring Jon Parkin to Coventry City as part of the deal for Ben Turner has fallen through.
It is understood that City and Parkin's representatives failed to agree terms with the former Preston and Hull striker not willing to take a pay cut to join City and now Parkin has returned back to Cardiff City.
Ben Turner's move to Cardiff City now looks to be a cash only deal.
