So that’s the end of another season at home. There are many people for me to thank for making the Family Zone so successful this year.
The volunteers have made so many new friends and met so many lovely families that their “job” has been a pleasure.
So thanks to everyone who has joined us this year, we hope you have enjoyed your time before the games.
Thanks to CCFPA who have been so supportive in sending down former players before games. It has been lovely listening to parents and grandparents telling their youngsters about these players and this has certainly increased the “family” atmosphere.
The visits from members of the current squad and Sky Blue Sam have been very popular and to see lots of excited young fans waiting for photos and autographs has been a treat.
Thanks to Mark Hornby at CCFC for all his support and help. It has been a real pleasure to work with him.
My biggest thanks, however, must go to the volunteers themselves. Without them the Family Zone wouldn’t happen. I know that they all thoroughly enjoy what they do but it still takes up their time and input.
So plans are already beginning for next season, when we hope to be bigger and better........if any of you have comments about the Family Zone or ideas for next season, please contact us on jsb@ccfc.co.uk.
