So yesterday was the last home game of the season and the last day for Family Zone activities until August.
It is therefore appropriate for me to thank a host of people for making it all happen before every weekend home game.
A big thank you for the support we have received from – Covsupport News Service, Coventry City Diamond Club, Coventry City Former Players Association, Coventry City London Supporters Club and individual members of the SCG.
Thanks also to Coventry City Football Club, especially to Mark Hornby, for all of their help and for providing us with many new resources, raffle prizes and other donations.
Thanks to Sky Blue Sam for visiting each week – a real favourite of the children and also to the players who have visited us and joined in the activities.
A big thank you has to go to my team of volunteers who turn up every week to help out in the zone and are available at every other event they are asked to attend. These are all season ticket holders who give up their time freely to support our next generation of fans.
The biggest “thank you” must go to all of the families who have joined us throughout the season. We hope that you have all had a great time and that we have offered something for you and your children.
Planning for next season is already under discussion so if you have any ideas on activities you would like us to offer then please contact us.
