Former Coventry City player/manager Terry Butcher has been sacked.
Butcher had been manager of Hibernian after moving from Inverness Caledonian Thistle but could not keep his side in the top flight of Scottish football and after a meeting with the Edinburgh club’s chairman Rod Petrie and chief executive Leeann Dempster yesterday, the board met this morning and decided that it was time for Butcher to go.
