Former Coventry City player/manager Terry Butcher is in the frame to become the next manager of Newport County.
The South Wales side are in talks about appointing a permanent replacement for Justin Edinburgh and Butcher who has managed at City, Sunderland, Motherwell, Brentford, Sydney, Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Hibernian is believed to be in the frame
