Latest signing Jay Tabb has spoken about his move to Coventry City. The Republic of Ireland U21 international who joined City for an undisclosed fee told the club website: "I'm delighted to join such a big club with a great history and I know I'm coming in on the bottom rung of the ladder and I've got to work my way up, but I had two good seasons with Brentford and we reached the play-offs in both seasons so I just want to come in and give it my all, work hard and try and establish myself.

"I heard a lot of good things about the manager. Obviously he used to work at Brentford and a lot of the backroom staff there said he was a great manager to work for so that was one of the main things. Then of course there is the great stadium and I've seen the signings the Club have already made and everything is geared to making a good push in the Premiership next season, so that was a big factor in my decision."
