Reading FC have finally confirmed that former Coventry City midfielder Jay Tabb has been released.
Tabb had been on loan during the season that has just finished at Ipswich Town, who again are being reported in interested in signing him on a permanent deal.
Tabb, who joined Reading in 2009, along with Noel Hunt, Ian Harte, Nicky Shorey and Simon Church have not been offered new deals by the Royals who will be back in the Championship next season.
