Swansea City remain keen on signing Coventry City keeper Dimi Konstantoplous.

The Greek keeper's loan at Liberty Stadium expires at the end of the month and although Dimi is now the Swans second choice keeper, Roberto Martinez is interested in doing a deal for the keeper who made it plain last season that his did not want to play for Chris Coleman and got a loan to Nottingham Forest only for it to backfire on his first day.

"Dimi knows how we work and how we are as a club now and we would love to get him here for a longer period if that is possible," Roberto Martinez told the Swansea Evening Post.

"If we could get him here on a permanent basis, that would be very good for Swansea City.

"But that will depend on how Dimi feels and how Coventry City feel about the situation."

Dimi will not be able to play against the Sky Blues on Boxing Day when City make their first visit to the Liberty Stadium in a game which is all ticket for Coventry City supporters with none available on the day.
