Swansea Extend Dimi Loan

Swansea City have agreed to take keeper Dimi Konstantopolous on loan for a further month.

With no future at Coventry City, the Greek keeper faces an uncertain time until his contract expires and will use the month to try and further impress Roberto Martinez into giving him a permanent deal at the Liberty Stadium.

Martinez had already told the Swansea Evening News: "If we could get him here on a permanent basis, that would be very good for Swansea City. "But that will depend on how Dimi feels and how Coventry City feel about the situation.

"We are not in a situation where we can pay any money now so we will have to see what Coventry say. "Dimi finishes his contract at the end of the season so it could be that something happens in January."
