Gary McSheffrey limped out of Fratton Park after Coventry City's 3-0 win at Portsmouth last night.
McSheffrey, who scored City's second goal in the 58th minute, left the ground with his left knee in a brace after he picked up suspected medial ligament damage in the 55th minute of the game, following a heavy tackle from a Portsmouth defender.
There is no news at the moment as to how serious the injury is.
