Coventry City Chairman Ray Ranson has urged the Coventry & Warwickshire public to support the England U21 game against Macedonia at the Ricoh Arena on Friday night (kick off 7.45pm).

Ranson, himself a former England U21 international told the club website: "I hope the Coventry and Warwickshire public come out in force to support the England Under-21s.

"The Ricoh Arena has been placed firmly on the map recently with the concerts and the club's good start to the season.

"A good crowd for this match would go further to cementing that. To me it seems like too good an opportunity to miss. You can come and see some fantastic young players and it's only £10 for adults and £5 for kids.

"I wouldn't pick out any individual. We would like to see Jack Cork in the team for obvious reasons and I think he deserves his chance.

"He has been a breath of fresh air for the club since he came in. You can tell he has had a good football upbringing and is a model young professional. P>

"It is a squad full of great quality and exciting players - but international football is different. England have adapted to that and matured at this level over the years but it is still interesting to see which players can step up that extra gear from the grind of club football, which is week-in, week-out."

The England squad now includes Arsenal's Theo Walcott.

You can pay on the gate. Tickets are priced at £10 for adults and £5 concessions or tickets can be obtained from City's ticket office at the Ricoh Arena.

Charter Standard football clubs and schools get free tickets whilst groups of 15 or more can get a discount of half price tickets by contacting 0844 873 6567 for further information.

Full parking restrictions will be enforced
