Successful Operation For Jodi Jones

Coventry City's Jodi Jones had a successful operation on Saturday.

Jones had an operation for an anterior cruciate ligament injury which he picked during the 1-1 draw at Stevenage at the Nuffield Health hospital in Warwickshire.

Jones, in a Facebook post, said the operation was successful and thanked the staff there.

Coventry City are expecting to be without Liam Kelly for six to eight weeks.

The midfielder was injured during the 1-1 draw at Steveange and speaking about his injury, Mark Robins said: “Liam Kelly is six to eight weeks.

"He tried to play with it but it wasn’t getting any better so I sent him for another scan and it turns out it’s worse than we thought, which is horrendous for us.
