Former Coventry City youngster Daniel Sturridge is out of the England squad to face Lithuania and Italy.
The FA have confirmed that Sturridge had a scan on the injury he picked up during Liverpool's defeat to Manchester United at St Georges Park and has now returned back to Merseyside after the injury was serious enough for him to withdraw from the squad.
