Coventry City Football Club have confirmed they will receive at least £175,00 compensation for Daniel Sturridge following his move from Manchester City to Chelsea.
There was a 5% sell on clause in the transfer agreement when Sturridge left Coventry for Manchester in 2003.
A recent FA tribunal decided the fee Chelsea must pay Manchester City would be £3.5m.
