Former Coventry City youngster Danny Sturridge scored twice and missed a penalty for Liverpool in a 4-0 victory against their rivals from across Stanley Park - Everton.

Sturridge scored in the 33rd and 35th minutes before missing a late penalty in Liverpool's biggest win against Everton since 1982.

Former City loanee Lloyd Dyer scored for Leicester City as they won 2-1 at Birmingham City to go eight points clear at the top of the Championship table.

Another former loanee David McGoldrick fired Ipswich Town into a lead at Elland Road. However, Leeds United levelled and the match finished 1-1.

Lukas Jutkiewicz was a 67th minute substitute for Bolton Wanderers in their 2-1 defeat at QPR. Jutkiewicz has joined on loan until the end of the season from Middlesbrough.

Cameron Belford saved a penalty but his Tamworth side lost 2-0 at Andy Morrell's Wrexham.
