Presenter of Coventry City's radio coverage of BBC Coventry & Warwickshire Stuart Linnell was taken to hospital after being hit by a police car this morning.
Mr Linnell, who was on his was to host his Monday to Friday radio show with BBC Radio Northampton, was 'he had been knocked over by a police car in .Abington Square, just yards away from BBC Radio Northampton’s offices, at 5.40am.'
He was taken to Northampton A&E but later discharged, feeling “very sore but otherwise in one piece”.
Northampton Police are investigating the matter.
