Strikers Need An Understanding - Tudgay

Coventry City striker Marcus Tudgay feels that if two of the five City strikers can get an understanding together then they can get goals.

Tudgay who played up front with Frank Nouble in the defeat at Rochdale, told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: “I think we definitely need two out of the five to stamp their mark this season.

“A lot of the lads I speak to talk about last year when Leon Clarke and Callum Wilson were here and that’s what we want to get back to, goals every week.

“Every striker wants to score goals and if we can get to that same understanding, whoever the strikers are at the time, it’s only a good thing.

“But we need to get it right. We need to get the final balls right, hold it up and do a job for the team and I think the goals will come.”
