Straight To Penalites

Last updated : 04 September 2012 By Covsupport News Service

Coventry City's Johnstone's Paint Trophy First Round tie against Burton Albion tonight will go straight to penalties if the sides are level after extra time.

Unlike the Capital One Cup where City needed extra time to beat Birmingham City, JPT matches go straight to penalties if the side are level after ninety minutes.

Also under the rules, City must field six players who started against Crewe or six players who have started the most City matches this season to date.

The Coventry Telegraph Stand will be closed and tickets are on general sale for City's first ever game in the competition, priced at £5 for adults and £2.50 for concessions (Over 60's, 16-21, Under 16) for season ticket holders.

For non-season ticket holders, the price is £10 for adults and £5 for concessions (Over 60's, 16-21, Under 16).

Under 16s can get in for for free but they must be accompanied by an adult on a one adult/one child basis and tickets can only be purchased over the phone or in person only. There is no online purchase available for Under 16 tickets.
