Coventry City loanee Chris Stokes has said that City need to get something from Sunday's final game of the season at Crawley Town.

Stokes told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner:  “There are going to be a lot of teams fighting down there and we need to get something out of it. Crawley will be fighting for their lives because they need to get a win. They can’t settle for a point.

“Our away form has been good so we need to be positive and try to get the three points.

“We haven’t conceded in four games away. We need to forget about the Crewe game and focus on one game to save our season.

"We need to go there with a game plan, and they’ve worked in the last four away games, and trust in that and hopefully it will pay off for us.

“I had one in my first season at Forest Green when we went to Tamworth stayed up by two goals, so it’s going to be that sort of scenario.

“It’s going to be difficult but we need to pull our socks up and trust in our away form that we’re going to get a result.”
