Coventry City loanee Chris Stokes has said that City are going to Bristol City looking to get a result against a side which is bidding to now win League One, after securing promotion with a 6-0 win at Bradford City on Tuesday night.
Speaking about the trip to Ashton Gate to Tom Bloomfield at this lunch-time's press conference, Stokes said: "Bristol's result was pretty impressive midweek! Hopefully they will be over-celebrating. It's another game for us and we're not going there to park the bus, we can get a result.
"I'd rather Preston beat Port Vale, even if the other result would mean Bristol are then champions, Vale are still down there.
"Everyone thinks Bristol City is a banker, home win. We're aware that they are top of the league for a reason but if we do get a result then it's massive as it pushes us away from relegation."
