Stewart Replacing Dickinson

Coventry City Caretaker Manager Lee Carsley has said that Jordan Stewart has been brought in to replace defender Carl Dickinson who had been brought in to cover the injured Blair Adams.

The former Leicester City defender, joined on a three month deal on Thursday before City's third transfer embargo in three years was imposed and Lee Carsley told the Coventry Telegraph's Alan Poole that the 30 year old has been brought in as a replacement for Carl Dickinson, whose loan cannot be extended under the transfer embargo when it expire after the Hartlepool home game on March 16th.

Carsley said:“The embargo means that we can’t keep Carl after the Hartlepool game so we had to be pro-active and make sure we had somebody in.
