Former Coventry City coach Steve Kean is being quoted as 99% certain to become the new manager of Blackburn Rovers.

Various media outlets are reporting that Kean, who was understudy to Chris Coleman at Coventry City before he was ousted, has flown to India to meet Blackburn's new owners, where he is expected to be offered the job.

However, former Coventry City defender Sam Allardyce who was sacked last week by Rovers told Sky Sports News that he did not think Kean was the right man for the job. Update, Kean was given the job until the end of the season.
