Stern John has reiterated his desire to stay at Coventry City. The Trinidadian who has one hundred caps for his country is out of contract at the end of the season but has again said that he would like a new one.

Said John to the CT:"It was fantastic to hear my name being chanted from the stands and I feel welcome at Coventry now, and I feel it is my home. "I want to make it my home, so I am thankful to the fans because the last couple of seasons have been up and down for me, but it is always good to hear them singing your name.

"So hopefully I can continue scoring some goals and they will continue singing my name.
"I was fit for the QPR game but the manager wanted to rest me to make sure it was okay, so I am back in training and working hard for selection again.

"I was away with Trinidad when the keeper landed on my knee in training and bruised the inside of it a bit, but it is all right now and I am just keeping my head down and waiting for my chance again."
