After watching the match video, the FA decided that the referee's decision should stand as the evidence was "inconclusive".
Peter Reid spoke to the referee and said that: "As Wigan haven’t given him a video so he’s letting it stand. He hasn’t changed his mind so Stan misses the game. We’ve just got to get on with it."
