Tottenham Hotspur will listen to offers for Calum Davenport according to reports. The former Coventry City defender joined the North Londoners at the end of last August for a paltry fee of £1.1m rising to £3m.

Davenport was then loaned out to West Ham United before returning to White Hart Lane to make one substitute appearance before spending the rest of the season on loan at Southampton who were relegated.

Tottenham boss Martin Jol has eleven defenders at his disposal and may loan out the England U21 international if there are no firm offers.

Meanwhile, Paul Hall has left Tranmere Rovers and signed for Chesterfield.
