Sports Minister Tracey Crouch MP has called for clarity on Coventry City's long term future.

The Sports Minister spoke at this morning's debate in Westminster Hall brought by Coventry MP Jim Cunningham and said: “Today I call on all parties to provide the clarity needed.”

“It’s really important that the parties sit down and try and resolve this.”

“I’m aware of the ongoing legal dispute and I don’t want to prejudice this, it’s up to the two parties and Wasps to seek how to resolve this.”

The Sports Minister rejected government intervention but said that Damian Collins MP, a member of the DCMS Select Committee should mediate.

Collins, who has done much for football reform, said there is a Department for Culture Media and Sport Select Committee meeting planned to discuss the Sky Blues situation next week.
