Coventry Sphinx followed up their Midland Alliance victory against Shepshed with a 5-2 victory over Dunkirk.

At Sphinx Drive, a crowd of 65 saw Ashley Cain fire Sphinx ahead with a 37th minute penalty and three minutes before the break, it was two when Rickie Cutting scored.

Two minutes into the second half, the Nottingham side pulled one back through Walters but Sphinx went straight up the other end and Kiam Galdins netted to put Luke Hopkins side 3-1 up.

Walters scored his second of the afternoon in the 68th but Sphinx kept going and Aden Moore scored twice to give Sphinx a 5-2 win.
