Coventry Sphinx Football Club has now finally agreed terms with Piher UK with regards to being their new shirt sponsor for this coming season.
Club Chairman, Dannie Cahill commented, “We are truly thrilled with our new partner and goes to show we as a football club are moving in the right direction. I met with representatives from Piher UK a couple of months ago and it became clear they wanted to be connected to a club that has ambitions to progress in non-league football.” In what are difficult times it is refreshing to know that Piher are willing to support us moving forward. Cahill went on “I believe this this is the start of a strong relationship and will, I’m sure, pay dividends to both parties.”
Piher UK Sales Manager, Neil Long said “We are delighted to be joining forces with Coventry Sphinx FC as shirt sponsors for the upcoming season. Piher Managing Director Juan-Carlos Piqueras has visited Sphinx Drive on one occasion and was impressed with the standard of facilities and the dedication and passion of the players and all involved behind the scenes. Formed in 1957 Piher are a Spanish Manufacturer of clamping tools based in Logrono, Northern Spain and export globally to over 50 countries.
Through their network of Welding Distributors in the UK & Ireland, Piher UK have steadily increased sales in the past few years and have recently expanded to facilitate future sales into the tool merchant, builders merchant, automotive and woodworking sectors in 2013/14 from their UK Headquarters in Coventry.
