Sphinx Sports & Social won 2-0 at Kenilworth Wardens tonight.
In this top of the table Coventry Alliance fixture Division 2 fixture, Sphinx who needed to win to get to the same points as Kenilworth and then pass them on goal difference, took a 12th minute lead from a Tom Cudworth penalty and added a second eight minutes later through Chris Harris.
Although Sphinx had to work in the second half, the job was done and the win sees Sphinx, who have four league games remaining, go top.
