Sphinx Sports & Social crashed out of the Foleshill Charity Cup with a Second Round 5-1 home defeat to The Bell/AEI Rugby.

The visitors took the lead in the 28th minute following a corner being bundled in but three minutes later, Sphinx were level when Terry Ward finished off a corner.

Both sides played some good entertaining football but with eleven minutes to go, The Bell were back in front with an audacious lob from the right.

A low drive from the left made it 3-1 in the 85th minute and two minutes, The Bell struck twice to lead 5-1 in a game which ended with two players who had been substituted, shown red cards by referee Pete Maton after a flare up, following a shove in the face of Sphinx's Alan Newman.
