Coventry Sphinx have signed Luke Downes.
The midfielder and son of former Sphinx keeper Gavin, joined Sphinx as a seven year old and developed as a talented player who was spotted by Leicester City aged fifteen.
Downes signed for Leicester City and played for their U18's and U21's but was not offered a new deal and has returned to his former club.
