Coventry Sphinx went down to a 2-1 defeat at Stourport Swifts in a Midland Alliance fixture.
A crowd of 82 saw Josh Thompson give the Swifts a 41st minute lead. However, Sphinx kept going and drew level in the 63rd minute through Ashley Wilks.
Some of the Sphinx support would have settled for a point but four minutes from time, Luke Hopkins side were denied that when Calvin Dinsley netted to send Sphinx, who are in League Cup action at Highgate United on Tuesday night to a defeat.
